This page is dedicated to the local and state police including the sheriff's offices, in Adair and Russell County.  Most of the officers do their jobs to the best of their ability.  They honestly do put up with alot of crap from people like drunks, dope addicts, punk teenagers, and just all kinds of people.  Officers always have to expect the unexpected and the question that comes to their minds when they're on patrol, responding to a call, or making a traffic stop, is "Am I going to make it home tonight?"  It takes alot of nerve, will power, and self-control to become police officer.  I respect and appreciate all the officers, even the ones who slack off, but atleast you know they're around.
